offline buffing

I would like to see a feature added to offline bombing that makes it easier to practice.

I've been practicing on the Pizza map, launching from one of the 12K bases, climbing 20K, leveling out, travel a full sector to get my speed leveled out, then drop my eggs.  In all, with a formation of lancs, the whole process takes 20 or so minutes.  When I'm practicing, I dont' want to be sitting for 20 minutes so I can do a 30 second practice drop, then have to wait an additional 20 minutes before I can do it again drop again.

If anyone remembers the PC version of Chuck Yeagers air combat (early '90-91), it had a neat mission editor to say,  I want this plane, at this altitude, against X number of bad guys, at X altitude, coming from this direction.

Could we not have a feature similar to this?  I would like to be able to specify my altitude, my stable airspeed, my starting heading and a starting distance from a selected enemy base.

Commands would be something like this....

.setaltitude XX  (where XX can be a number b/n 1 and a/c ceiling)
.setstablespeed XXX (where XXX must be a number b/n 150 and max a/c speed)
.setheading XXX (where XXX can be a number b/n 1 and 360)
.setdistance XXX (in miles)
.setbase XXX (any enemy base on the map)

This would greatly reduce the amount of time spent getting setup for the practice run and would improve offline practice IMO.

Get the Germany terrain. There are some fields there that have air-start (unfortunately, stationary) spawn points. For example, on the Germany terrain,  the NE launch point at field A48 (Rook) starts you at about 20,000'. As soon as you launch, set autopilot to level and raise your gear. Once you're stable (you can even take up a Lanc formation and usually not lose the drones this way), there are hostile ground targets -- a large airfield and three strat targets (city, radar factory, fuel factory) a little west of due north of you a little more than a sector away. You can line up, calibrate, and drop all in about five minutes, then watch your impacts for BDA, bail, and do it again.
