Fergit SWOTL...its predecessors Battlehawks 1942 and Their Finest hour were better. Same graphics engines but much more immersive. Of course RB killed them all.

Still the best sim I've played to date (SWOTL) due to its unique campaign engine but obviously the graphics are dated.

Their Finest Hour! Still remember that - 10 years old and my Commodore Amiga only had half a meg of RAM and so there was no sound apart from my mate simulating chattering MGs. You needed to upgrade by half a meg to get the sound working.

Happy days :D.
War! Never been so much fun. War! Never been so much fun! Go to your brother, Kill him with your gun, Leave him lying in his uniform, Dying in the sun.

I played TFH before SWOTL, it did nothing for me like SWOTL did.

I played "Their Finest Hour" on my Amiga 1000. I had 2.5 meg RAM, thanks to my Spirit board.  I remember how much fun it was to blow away Stukas before they took out the chain home low stations.

I played "SWOTL" on an old 386-40 I had back in the early 90's. At that time, SWOTL was great. Still miss the GO229 and ME163.
