Will there be functioning squads?

It would be nice if you could fly as members of a squad with some kind of semi-fixed pre-planned missions that could be triggered by "officers" in the squad. I could see a minor issue with trying to coordinate these functions with others (say escort duty with a bomber mission), but I think it really needs to be looked at.

I hope you are not considering letting Nimitz anywhere near the trigger though!

Another nice feature would allow those that are in historical squadrons to be based where their real-counterparts were based. For example, my squadron would have their home base at Wattisham, where the real-life 479th was based from '44 to '45.
