JASE vs BD
« on: April 23, 2000, 10:07:00 PM »
BD and I finished our 2nd rung of the ladder fights a little while ago, and this is how they went.....

All fights ended up being Spit Vs Spit

1.)  Clean merge and both immel.  I miss a snap shot, overshoot and BD slips on top.  He passes just over me two times, and each time he pings me.  On the third pass I am able to wing over on him and get the snap wing shot.  JASE wins.

2.)  Clean merge and both immel again.  I miss the 2nd merge snap and BD flys over me.  I slap throttle to nothing and hit counter rudder and luckily, I am able to nose up on him.  After I believe 2-3 turns I close the gap and get a shot.  JASE wins

3.)  Clean merge.  BD Extends (which caught me off guard) and begins to get alt.  He slow turns up high and comes back.  In a nose to nose exchange, BD is able to get my engine oil.  He smartly stays away from me as I sink to slow death.  Let me tell you, 12k is a long way to have to glide down knowing you can't win, LOL.  BD wins.

4.)  Clean merge.  BD extends again, but this time I sock a little of my E away in my immel.  He climbs, dives, passes, and extends several time until I am able to just catch up with him.  JASE wins 3-1.  All in all they were great fights, and BD did himself and his squad proud.  Salute!

Sounds like a good fight!

This sends Jase into the Quarter-final of the Winners' Bracket, and B.D. is in the Upper level of the Losers' Bracket. Brace yourselves, there is a good chance you could meet again!

WTG guys!

Said it before but ,having fought Jase briefly in TA and having had him DESTROY me in much the same way I'm used towhile flying vs EADG I cant wait to see these two become #1 and #2  on the overall dueling ladder.
This will undoubtably become the most watched rivalry in the newly borne H2H ladder!
For those of you aspiring to aquire the skills neccesary to be judged amongst the elite-Keep a close eye on the developing rivalries of the up and coming dueling ladder. This is the stuff that truely separates the men from the boys.
Great times indeed t be a part of the AH phenom.!
 Thx again HT and crew!

hehe, that "Jase wins" a little too familiar to me  . Many congrats BD, to me 1 out of 4 is a moral victory.

Many thanks Jase,

On the first fight, I was surprised that you were in a V instead of a IX.  It was my assumption that was in error though.  Second I took a V, but my edge has been dulled by too much tank driving (doh).  Third, I was back in the IX, and used different tactics, as you noted.  The fourth was very educational, again in the IX.

Overall, I can say I learned something about ACM, and had a great time doing it.

I congratulate you on your flying skills, and look forward to meeting you again.
