"I'm first....BACK OFF ya fuggers.."

Wip I agree with you that there is a high proportion of vocal "kissies" on the board. Some sort of a cult I'm led to believe.

Strange coming to a new board after a couple of thousand posts and 3 or 4 years at AGW.

Took me a while, and you know what I found ?? You dismiss the kissy posts, and what your left with is a good board with good interaction between a core of board potatos :D

BTW I "think" if I remember correctly the board was shut because of an overload on the server.

Outright objective criticism does tend to bring out the fanboys. Some have badges ;)

But after playing the game for a few months, I can't think of a thing to squeak about.  Met some great people, havin a good time..

Maybe after a few years I too will become a kissy.

If I do...

PLEASE put a bullet in my head

"Ok..ok I'm done..."

"QUIT PUSHIN !!"

Here they come Wipass..

I smell incense..

...and they're chanting

:D

AFAIR the O'Club here is for topics about other games; same goes with AGW OffTopic ("Use this to discuss stuff totally unrelated to Warbirds. Other games, sims, etc".

Staga> when AGW was hosted at Dogfighter Argo said that topics about any of the other online sims was fine in the general forum aslong as it did'nt turn into a flamefest, since moving to iEN servers and having an iEN employee moderate AGW more topics have been moved than ever before. If that's the way they want to do things now then fine but lets drop the premise that AGW is still as independant as it ever was shall we?

For what it's worth I don't know why iEN has not encouraged more people to use their own BBS and keep it all under one roof. They upgraded their BBS software to a better variety but their own employee's often ignore iEN's forums and go straight to AGW with announcements. As far as I'm concerned HTC does a fair handed job on the forum's and the only warning were given when things really started to get out of hand and rather disgusting language started to creep in with a few users. Contrast that to iEN who closed my forum account when I made a light hearted joke at early WBIII shots.

revvin,

they closed your account at ien ?  the miserable gits, but it does show the benefit of having an independant BB though.

I accept that the "moving" of posts may have increased on agw but I would imagine that the deleting of threads has not.

One question though revvin, do you still fly Wb and or wwIIonline ? I have accounts in both but spend 95 % of my online time in AH.

regards

wipass

I have accounts in Aces High, Warbirds and World War II Online actually.

Why? so you can slag off the team? that's all AGW is now. I fear for new players finding AGW it's more like the wild west now. The small number of players that stayed with WB; generally the pom pom wavers jump on anyone who dares to criticize anythign about Warbirds, even more so than if you posted somethign like that on the official boards. I really believe the WB community would be better served from one official board like AH and WW2OL, infact I made the effort to post stuff to the iEN board, made suggestions, tried to start discussion on things such as ideas on how to improve the bombers in WB but the WB team ignore their own board.

The 'HTC takes it to the next level' has also been moved to off topic, guess iEN did'nt like such a glowing reference even from die hard WB players propping up the top of the general forum.
