Yea, I was hoping Guiliani was going to tell the Prince to shove that check where the sun doesn't shine back after 9/11.  Then who was that kooky Representative who ran after the prince, apologizing on our behalf?

When I started seeing Anti-US demonstrations on TV going on in Kuwait, that made me shake my head.  As a regualr Discovery Wings viewer, I've seen the Gulf War documentaries over and over again, and how they couldnt thank us enough for liberating their sorry asses.  And this is the thanks we get.

Part of me (evil Paul) says launch the military, invade, and make Saudi the 52 (53rd?) state.  Wipe em out, cya bye!  What are they worried about, in 20 years, they'll be the minority there and with our government's politically correct ways, get free college and foodstamps galore  Heck, maybe we'll let em open a casino or two at Mecca?  

And the other side of me (mild mannered Paul) says fine, screw em.  I think it should be pointed out they need us more than we need them.  And the environmentalist, who drive amazingly unefficient VW beetles, SUVs and motor homes, should live their own doctorine.  THey want us to drive more fuel effient vehicles and demand companies make them?  Fine, go set the example.  You want em, buy em.  Let's go search for alternate energy on our soil.  What?  We cant?  Might upset a elk?  Well that 20 year old VW van those tree huggers are driving around aint efficient either!  Point is, we rely on these jerks because we force ourselves to.  This "not in my backyard" attitude, and "you should drive/make this [but dont you dare insist I do]" baloney must stop.

No one would've gave a damn about the mid east and their blood wars had oil not been found there.  Now we're dealing with obscenely resource rich nomadic kooks since the big oil of the world is sittig under em.  And once its gone, then what do we do?

Let's buy our oil from Russia.  It'll give us all the oil we need and give Russia a lot of hard currency it needs to straighten out its economy.  Russia is fast becoming a strategic ally, we have more in common with them than the sorry Saudis and they have a common problem with Islamic militants committeing terrorist acts against them.

We do that and Saudi will be one big sandpile full of camel herders in three years!!!!!!!!:p
