My sentiments exactly :)

Did you get them with those WGr21s?

Anyone have a tip on hitting buff formations with rockets?? The two things I have never accomplished in AH multiverse is 1)torpedo run and 2)rockets against buffs.. :)

ooooooo dont get me started!! :p

they came up what looked like 300 to 400 yards short :)

i dont get HTC at all. they used to work at 1.7k but now they seem to be much much less ?? If it was changed why was it at 1.7(ish) K  before and why have they been shortened? I thought it was all highly accurate and set up to real data? if so why and how was it set two different ways? The real rockets were nothing like that short in range(i think they went 1000 meters or so if i remember right, thats 3k isnt it?) .The power of their blast was also far greater than the poultry burst we get. What we have ended up with is a really useless weapon rather than something that is (fun and...) usefull.I think the drag they cause is punishment enough for those that try to use them, let alone making them ranged well within the killing zone of the 50cals on b17s. I have 'combat crew' by john comer and he describes the LW using mass attacks with them and losing plenty of B17s to them.He describes the B17 crews as fearing them greatly not ignoring them because they hardly ever worked. The general answer you get in these boards is 'Wr21's were ineffective in WW2' etc but they were far from ineffective if the pilots became skilled with them. The reason they became marked as next to useless was far more to do with the fact that the escort fighters killed them(rocket carrying planes) if they werent escorted themselves not because they didnt work, yes they were hard to hit with and often missed but that was in a real life highly stressed situation and they didnt get the practice we do.They should be ranged for firing outside 1.4k at the very least i think and if you can learn to fire them then youre a better dshot than me :) .I cant seem to find any distance that works anymore :(

still pic looks nice  hehe

just did some testing offline using the target and the range ended up being 1.2k

I started with target at 800 and worked outwards, anything below 1.2k and the rks make a hole in the target and explode behind it.

hope this helps :)

the distance in AH is measured in imperial measurements, ie. yards, feet, mph

k is just short for 1000 yards

btw, 1km = 1093.613 yards,  1m = 1.093613
