i've heard good things about the P-47's roll ability, you wouldn't happen to now how the Jug does in this test?

I have a NACA doc that has been posted many times.

It does not seem to roll as well as you might expect. However the P-47N with clipped wings must have rolled better. However I have no data for it.

I have read about the P-47's rolling ability but have never seen anything to back it up. I would luv to get it myself.

Those numbers for 190 are for one brits had with heavy ailerons.

Brits had also 2 other 190s with considerably lighter aileron control. One of those tests is somewhere around the net.

Peak roll was something like 180-190degr/sec.
