Pyro said in new interview with DF:
One thing we’d like to try in the future is a high detail tank arena. Our terrain is currently optimized towards planes. We think it would make a very fun vehicle setting if we took a terrain and cut the scale back to create a small but highly defined battlefield for ground vehicles.

"It’s a large-scale upgrade. It’s probably our biggest update yet. It’s not focused in one area though. There’s graphics work, trains and roads, terrain cover and objects, new planes and vehicles, and numerous smaller improvements and fixes."

Ayup, that end of things could get very interesting.

The only thing I am interested in is ground cover.

Trees in other words (hopefully treelines similar to the smoke rounds we have now).
