Hey guys.  Can't wait to see the beta.  Been thinking of putting together a dream machine to replace the wife's aging Compaq Deskpro P166.  I was going to get a new G3 and have it run Virtual PC.  But, just becasue I love all of ya, I'm gonna build a PC instead.

P.S.  As a guy who makes his living maintaining and repairing Macs and Mac-centric networks.  I would say that both from a cost-benefit and an ease-of-devleopment standpoint I would plan on doing a Mac release for OS X only.  The current multi-threading just doesn't work the way it should and the 3D market is just now starting to come on line in a big way.  Now AH for OS X with BSD kernel, a 500 MHz G4 with AltiVec and a 32MB Voodoo 3 card with OpenGL, THAT'S what I call a great freakin Sim!

can't say i'll do the same cman. I'll go to my friend's house to try out the open beta when it's released, but I promise you JG77 and many other squads will not switch to a sim that doesn't support the Mac. Heck, 1/2 our squad uses a Macintosh!
