Yeah Kieran, I agree. It's not my call either, but I'm wondering now exactly what the criteria is for getting booted off this bbs. I understand the nudie pic was over the top, but the guy who posted that pic is still here while two guys who had no idea they were out of bounds are gone. Its much simpler than "arbitrary".  If HTC slaps you down on the BBS with a warning of any kind, shut up and take it.  Those that argue the point aren't arguing for long.

Lesson: If Yankee says "don't do this", the improper (just might get you banned) reply is "nobody's making you look at it".

I seriously doubt either would have been given a timeout if either had simply said "sorry" or nothing at all.

Those rules pertain to your "playing account" and not really the, hum I guess "ethical rules" of the BBS. These rules were never explicitly stated anywhere clearly in relevance to the issues of this case. The closest we have to any ruling on this matter is what HT said about "cleaning it up". Even in this light, the sentence passed on to the defendant was rather light. How could you argue against being banned then being able to go and create another account and continue to post. Nobody is fooled by the new accounts. Why not just say, "G, I appologise" and leave it to the degree of the situation to resolve itself rather than blowing on it like a child wanting his cheap lolipop to have your way.
