Bring the Ju-87 Stuka to Aces High?

Roger Selector, nothing bad ment with it and I agree with you to some extent. but we all know AH isn't like real life, the tiffie is amongst the most dangerous fighters, we sometimes see SBD's and Val's outmaneuvering and killing Zero's and spits etc. what might a Ju87 do? ;)

Besides, it's NEEDED for scenarios! :D

im all for bringing new planes to AH including the 87, but my post was basicaly to ask the question "why would you bring them"?and "how long would you fly them for?
i see every other day, "bring this 'cos i saw it on discovery wings" or "bring that 'cos it was in airwarrior"
just a little explanation as to why would be nice..

We've got plenty of aircraft that have no real impact, but I still see the occasional IL-2, c202, Val etc etc.  Impact in the MA is really a (IMO) poor excuse for or against any new aircraft.  More is always better.  Actually, one of the what I consider the KEY attractions to AH is the promise of new aircraf.  I think the only real and measurable impact that can be brought to AH at this point in time is changing the gamey attitudes of the people (MA) (Suicide clowns and such).

The Stuka will be flown, it was in AW, and it was in WB too AFAIK (I did, wasn't there allot but I always did).  I find it particularly enjoyable to fly some of the planes that aren't so popular...

A stuka carrying three 500kg(aka 1000lb) bombs would certainly be used even in the MA.

There is no possible way you can leave out the stuka.  Like the p-40b, it was obsolete early on, but it made such a name for itself that it cannot be left out.

Yes we need stuka!!! and that dive siren I keep hearing about but never heard it before...

I think it was norway/sweeden that the Gloster Gladiator & Ju87 stuka saw combat against each other, would be an interesting fight, Gladiator could out run the stuka by a few miles per hour, and I think it had an armament advantage, and of course manuverability advantage, but the stuka had a rear gun as well... I'd love a set up with glads and stukas!

I'm still waiting for HTC to add the bombs the 190F-8 has had missing since it's first introduction in AH . I'd cross my fingers if the later war Stuka would be allowed to carry those  x3 500kg bombs in AH.

To help round out the early war the Stuka along with the He111 and Blenheim would make excellent additions particularly for events and perhaps the mission arena if it works on simulating era's.
