Have you guys thought about opening your architecture to allow the export of variables? This would mean that things such as gauges, text messages, lights and switches could be easily modeled in add-ons. What I'm thinking about is the ability to use these "exported" variables to drive actual gauges, and indicators in a cockpit. As developers, you don't have to actually provide any of the add-ons, so no additional development effort.
