I may soon be moving into Deja's world   D1D in Hillsboro (probably, though it aint for sure yet).

Which brings be to what I do.

Work for a major scientific products distributor, doing contracted services mostly.  I work on sites that require someone available just for that account.  At intel, for example, I would be pushing things like their cleanroom gloves, suits, shoecovers, etc.  As well as a lot of little parts they can't seem to get anywhere else (o-rings, a lot of safety stuff I have to re-design for use in cleanrooms, cleanroom furniture, list goes on and on).  I currenlty work at University of Southern California (Trojan band practices incessantly outside my office.  I am so tired of that dang fight song, and I'm a duck fan anyway...)

Sr. editor for a 100-year-old trade magazine for the U.S. retail petroleum industry, and its international cousin. A little PR consulting on the side.

Used to do metal fabricating/assembly work for a heat treating furnace company a decade or so ago. I was pretty hot with a Mig -- the welding kind :)

Still with VWR.  They have treated me very well over the years (I should have been fired once or twice many years ago while I was young and stupid).  I have a few opportunities up there with them, just sorting it all out now.  Not sure when I'll move back up for sure.

Structures engineer (tinbasher), mostly CC130. Did a few Tutor/Snowbird conversions. Some 727/37 structural work. But mostly Hercs, the great flying gravel truck.
