Flaps not working

I am unable to make the flaps work for any of the planes i fly. The Q and W keys work for the gears on the gv's but not for flaps. Any ideas????

Go into setup, and select keymapping button.  Check in the "Flight" section that flaps up and down are correctly assigned to those keys.
