Looks like Lance ain't going into space. Someone forgot to pay the bill. (I guess "the checks in the mail" doesn't work in Russia).

Sounds more like the russians wanted the money in advance with no arrangement to return any if the launch didnt happen. The

As much as I despise him and his stupid band of cock fondlers, if he pays the money that the Russians need, and is able to pass the physical test, he deserves to go as much as Denis Tito or any other millionaire willing to pay.

He has no money, and his corporate backing wasn't quite willing to pony up for Extreme Boy-Toy in Space.

I think the patriotic thing to do is to pony up the money as a country, send him off, then kick out the plugs on the re-entry computers. ;)

One less boy band isn't going to hurt us, is it?

I think he probably broke into song at one point and the guys who were scheduled to go with him said "Niet!" to him joining them.

Either that or they were told they HAD to bring him back.

I think as a tax payer, making MORE qualified American MEN sit out Shuttle launches so we all feel 'rainbow melting pot happy', giving women a mandatory shuttle seat, is way more outrageous.

If this guy has cash, and can complete the doctrine to make the flight, in a unscientific role, making this foreign country launch actually possible that will use HIS money to offset the flight costs from anyone's  taxation, more power to him.

Most the guys squeaking pry have kids, that they paid for his CD’s, bed sheets, lunchboxes, and figurines.

POISON, the worst band ever, has a NASCAR Team driving their colors. Hell, more power to them.

Just stop making me pay for what someone else thinks is right on the next Shuttle Flight.

Creamo I went to a Day On The Green at the Oakland Colliseum back in 87 (I think.) Saw Poison, Whitesnake and Motley Crue. Poison's act reminded me of playing dodge ball in school only using shoes instead of dodge balls. They asked the crowd several times between sets to quit throwing their shoes, but every time they did several hundred more shoes would be launched from the crowd. I swear twenty thousand people left barefoot that night. Finally Bret Michaels threatened to quit playing if the fans didn't stop throwing their shoes, and that got them the biggest cheers of their set- and a fresh barrage of shoes. Man, they sucked soooo bad. It was great.

Day On The Green!

Metallica, Queensryche, Soundgarden, add a keg of Pabst, we made money after the show, $1 a cup.

Man the crowd just THRASHED the Oakland sod, it looked like a dirt tornado.

Been there, done it, 1992? Dunno, have to check my concert thread.
