Neenier Neenier Neenier.....

I think I am probably one of maybe two people outside the Scenario Corps who actually knows the truth    But I admittedly cheated

banana & Fd Ski, I really hope you guys get a couple of Scenario Veterans (preferably people who have CO'd or XO'd successfully in the past) to act as advisors for the Academy people.

Otherwise they're gonna get their clocks cleaned bad.

Just as in real life, theoretical tactics and strategies are one thing, implementing them successfully is a whole other matter.

Like sooo Cool!

Wish I was still with AH and 3./JG2.

Ah, maybe next time.

Rock:  Ya see that Ensign, lighting the cigarette?
Powell: Yes Rock.
Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.

Sounds like a nice scenario.  I hope we can get our CO to sign onto this one as it seems to be setup well.

WOW!

Now this is cool.  Innovative approach, and one that will make things even more interesting.  A schedule I can deal with as well.

Oink! Oink!  To WAR!

Congratulations on creating something innovative!

US Airforce cadets? Is that just part of a class or is this an official arrangement with the USAF?

Sounds like a lot of fun.

Hey, couldn't we get the someone from RAF Cranwell to lead the other side?

Props go to loser111 for flaming the B17s wing in the TA yesterday so I could composite this graphic.

Dowding do you have contacts with the RAF at Cranwell for future events?

Sabre/Rojo has acted as liason with the War Gamers club at the USAF academy, a big <S> goes out to him for his efforts, as well as HTC for their assistance in making this event happen.

Verm: Yes, we're seeing to that.  Any cadets that act as flight leaders will be experienced pilots and will have a non-cadet AH pilot as an XO.  As for their command staff, they will have some help there too.

And yes...the cadets participation is santioned by the Air Force Academy faculty.  Long story, but a couple of Air Force wing-wipers (that would be Jarbo and myself) somehow convinced the Academy that AH would help the cadets' development as leaders and military thinkers.  They've even talked about classroom use of AH.  This is a sort of test run of AH as a learning tool, as well as a great scenario for the community as a whole.  I also have to say that the cadets' participation would be impossible without the generous sponsorship of HiTech Creations...Thanks, HiTech and Pyro!

Fantastic!

What a fabulous announcement, scenarios are the ONLY thing AH has been missing, and this sounds like a classic.

A prediction:

Air force acadamies using H2H for interservice rivalry

Great scheduling

We Europeans can actually attend a whole event.

I believe the 33rd Strike Group will be signing up as axis for this event.  More than a few of us are active officers and enlisted with the N.J. Air National Guard, active duty army as well as retired military.  There is also a wealth of Flight Sim experience in the squad, most of us have been flyin these things for years and some of us have CO'd and XO'd a few events on AW. We'll fight fer ya, just point us towards the bad guys!
