My take:
Florida is officially OUT OF THE JUNGLE.
Florida should not be allowed to take part in any federal elections until they figure out this voting thing.
Give them a couple years off, then a "tryout".  If they successfully complete the "tryout" vote then we let them back in.  Until then, no federal votes from Florida.

Kalifornians are Americans.

Floridians are obviously morons, heheh. This is no time to be making blanket statements, makes ya look... well, ya know.

Renoland, now that would just about perfect.

That's what we get for allowing Katherine Harris to run for state senate.

All the hubbub and brouhaha from November of 2000, truckloads of money spent, consultants consulted, high level staff meetings, computerized voting machines.......

and they STILL totally pork the operation.

Thank COD this was only a primary.... now the "vast conspiracy" centers on and in just one party. They'll be eating their own young on this one.

Let's just hope they can get it straightened out by Nov 2002... although it's looking doubtful..... so that we don't have to go throught that dog and pony show one more time.

Well, Broward Elections is certainly building a record of incredible incompetence.

They've only got about 26 months to get squared away before the next BIG one.

Given their ineptitude, I'm not sure that's going to be enough.

Yep, and what can Jeb do? GO fire the dumbacrat boob who is running the election show down there? They'd just twist that around to their advan.

I say we just build a wall around the place - and call it little PR or little Cuba and take their voting right away

Jeb Bush ran attack ads in the fla dem primary because he wants to run against a woman that could beat him up (reno - who's campaigning ski||z are lamer than everything except her campaign strategy) rather than a generic wife (McBride).  now jeb is in charge of counting up the votes in this tight race...are the iowa electronic markets (http://www.biz.uiowa.edu/iem/) still open?

Jeb is in charge of counting the votes?

Gee, I thought he was probably too busy to count votes. Don't they have other folks that do this?

CNN:

"The margin, while narrow, was not close enough to trigger an automatic statewide recount, and the state canvassing board certified McBride as the winner Thursday afternoon. "

Doesn't really matter if people can't vote - it's Florida - they can't count them properly anyway. :D
