GeF2MX to GeF4 Ti4200
« on: September 12, 2002, 08:21:02 PM »
Well, I'm soon going to switch from a GeForce 2MX to a 4 Ti 4200.
Are there any/many setting changes that I should do?
I know latest drivers will probably be in order and reload Dx, but I'm thinking more of the [warning: spelling errors to follow] antiailaising or the other ones I dont even care to try and spell, anistropic somethingorother.

Thanks for your two cents, I'll try and give you change back,

Been playing with my mipmapping and anistropic settings tonight and everything looks a lot better. Except for the text in AH.

If I use any anistropic setting, all text is basically unreadable. There doesn't seem to be any setting to render the text as uhm, as something else a bit more readable.

Oh yea, you can get rivatuner and play around with the settings in there. Most notable mipmapping LOD and anistropic filtering.
