Fester here, saying hello from mac land :D

i think its been a month or two since i flew this game due to my pc system getting hit by lightning.
Would anyone want to place a wager on how long I can keep from buying a new pc or fixing my old one so i can get my dogfighting fix? :)

seriously,
the things I have missed most from not indulging in this hobbie for a few months is the people who make it so entertaining.

a few highlights:

kappa, manetmp and I, flying in formation in p38s or me262s hunting other squads, intercepting missions, the rush of flying 3 low level me262s into a cloud of enemy aircraft and shooting down all of them.

eskimo, giving me pale skinned awards and always being a good guy

leviathn and nathbdp: objective: furball at all costs and kill everything.

lazs2 and creamo: I laugh just thinking about what they will say next.

everyone who would follow me on my crazy "fester missions" into great peril :)

I must say there are so many here who have helped HTC make this game so enjoyable. I must say thanks to all and hope to be in the virtual sky again soon

Fester?  Some cherry picking dweeb.  Not very good at it, either.  :D

Don't know how you can stand it Fester.  I've got my machine apart getting prepped for a peltier, and I'm going into withdrawl.  Keep walking over to see if the coating has cured yet.  How about now?  Still not cured?  Maybe in another 30 seconds...  :(

Fester,
You poor bastard, your stuck with a Mac!
Man they suck.  I just started a job teaching computers at a K-8 school.  I've got 32 old Macs, A Mac G-3 server, an Imac, and one REAL windows based PC.  I hate the Macs.  I think that the crew that designed the Mac OS didn't talk to each other much, and I think that no one noticed that a few of the crew members were retarded.  Lots of things make sense, but I keep finding procedures that look as if they were written with a flavor of Monty Python.  After working on them a bit, I have flashbacks to the days when I used to own a Fiat.

Anyway, I'm out of AH too.  At least until the CTD bug is fixed.  I'ts been about 7 or 8 weeks for me as well. :(
