Looking for WarBirds/Aces High/WW2OL fan movies
« on: September 17, 2002, 05:31:06 AM »
And especially that have some or all following covered:

- Include good aviation action
- Aviation action especially with wingmen, schwarms or squadrons = larger scale.
- Oh, goody squadron size attacks on buff formations etc ;-) Well, this doesn't have much hope :)
- High resolution - not just stamp sized but with good resolution that can be used outside PC monitor environment.

Why?

Virtuaalilentäjät - Virtual Pilots Finland association will be taking part in the Finnish Aviation's Museum's Aviation Hobby Days event. IT is expected that several thounsands of people will flock in. Last year we had graet fun demonstrating online flying with three PC machines for two days. WarBirds, Aces High, IL2 and EAW were on top and lots and lots of people were really, really interested. Museum staff asked us to participate again and yeah, sure, we'll go.

I'm working on little digital magic and thought that I will combine a nice video demonstration about different flight sims. Exmphasis on online and multiplayer flying. My own possibilities are a bit limited, I'm stillfighting to get video footage from one pc to the capture system of another. Not working. But if somebody else has done great movies already, hey, those would be very useful.

And maybe just not only boring combat flying. Maybe some fun snips too?

Hmmm, for example didn't Brendo do great movies long time ago? Are they still online? Lemsko's ACM training videos are .ram-firmat, can they be converted to AVI or something?

Any clues accepted with thanks. If you got material you can deliver directly please tell me, jkauppin@jmp.fi. I can fetch any size of material from net through http or ftp.
