Ok I bet I am going to get flamed for this thought process so the flame suit is going on now.
Anyway what is the reason behind having multiple "frames" instead of having one "frame" to decide the fate of the event?
Now before I get jumped on hear me out. In the past I have taken part in scenarios that were massive in scope but only lasted one day but it was a 4-5 hour block of time. For example when LJK (former squdron) was flying in Fighter Ace 2 we took part in a Kursk event that was about 5 hours in length but was finished in a day. That was just one of many that they did in one day with FA2. Other examples were Schweinfurt (sp?), the first massive LW opening attack during the Battle of Britain and so on.
Now if scenarios were flown like that in a single day it would be more attractive to me. It is hard for me to get 2-4 Saturdays/Sundays in a row with more than 2 hours of free time in them. I know that TOD and other things are scheduled during the week for one time scenario flights. But I would be willing to bet that many more people would be available to schedule in a few hours for one Saturday than for 2-4 in a row.
Thanks for listening to the thought.
