A plea to Voss!!!

I'm getting bored of all this character assassination.  I say we start actual assassination.

Ok I am probably going to make some people mad but oh well.  I never played anyother game so I had no idea of what you were talking about at the start of this but I have since found out and went to the other board and read extensively.  I would like to make an observation though.

Last year when I started with Aces High I came to this BB to learn about the game and how to fly these machines, there was some good natured picking at each other but never any vindictive posting;  with the advent of AW people comming over when it closed down the attitude has changed in a dramatic way.

Now for someone that is an "outsider" this is easy to see, for those that came over it is probably not, but when you go read posts on the other board this board is getting to look just like an exact copy of the other one.  

If you read every post on this board you will notice a real change in the temperment about last December where people started getting berated rather than the friendly helpful attitude it was when I started last August.

Here is where people will get mad,  ACES HIGH is not AIR WARRIOR, leave the AW stuff there and bring back the friendly helpful environment to ACES HIGH and this BB.  Last August there was never anyone that asked for help that did not get a cheerful helpful reply and while I am at it let me put in this VOSS was one of those people that would help newbies like myself without yelling GO READ THE README FILE, and that is the general attitude in here now.  I agree they should read the readme file but I haven't met and ex-AW'er including most of the three squads I have been in that has bothered to read it, they all ask me about it.

If you cant leave the past in the past especially for the length of time that has passed here, you need serious mental help.  If you just must pass derogatory remarks then go back to AW board and post them there, and leave this board for helpful post for ACES HIGH.

This is just my opinion, but I have sat and watched as long as I can without letting it be known.  So now let the flames begin.

Jeebus, I hate having to explain obvious references but , my ill read friend, "tool of the emperor" is a reference to his handle "sardaukar" . If that doesn't get ya there may I suggest you read a book or two. Start with Frank Herbert.

BTW, did he ask you to splain that his post was an "attempt at humor" or have you just decided to share your mind reading skills with the rest of the world ?

And finally, I will be sure , from here on out, to check with you for likes and dislikes before I post.

Either way your method of insulting those whose viewpoints you dont agree with is usually due to low self esteem and/or sexual frustration.  Please dont embarress yourself by trying to be witty again, it makes the community look bad.    

Point 1> As I explained elsewhere, I was around at the time, was asked to beta test and all the associated oportunities and passed. Doesn't change my right to all a thief a thief.

Point 2> I love this . I point out your demonstrable ignorance ( and you might want to look that word up before your next tirade) and you fly off into a personal attack based on a total lack of knowledge on your subject. If either of us should be embarassed in this exchange it certainly isn't me cupcake.

 BTW, based on a rather large quantity of posts I've read (your's obviously foremost among them) virtually anything I spew here can only raise the level of wit and make the "community " look a bit better to those  with an eighth grade or better education.

It's known with, one thread passed the hundreds of post with at least half in tomato-throwing fashion. Isn't that enough already?

This post is stupid too.  This isnt a parent spying on a kid, this is the neighborhood making a citizens arrest when a convicted car thief escapes from the police and shows up in the neighborhood and starts commenting on what nice cars everyone has.

The second part, well no.  As long as Voss and his partisans want to minimize his behavior I say rock on.

Your type I have seen before.  You are uncomfortable with dealing with unpleasent people so rather than avoid the unpleasentness or deal with the griefers you attack those that bring attention to the situation.  You dont actually care what Voss has done or to who or if he does it again.  You just dont want YOUR comfortable little world rocked.
