Angles of attack, An A6 Intruder Pilots War

Its a new book I picked up at Barnes the other day. Its about an A6 pilots experiences through Desert Storm. Havent begun to read it yet as Im currently reading something else but looks very interesting (otherwise why would I buy it). It was like 6 bucks or something. So all you A6 fans out there that wanna read on modern day A6 operations, you might want this book.

I got it cas I havent read anything on DS.

PS: This BBS is starting to show a bit of age, cant delete that other thread in General. Can post easily but cant delete, wierd.

Senna, I'll see if I can find it, ta for the tip. Tornado Down by a couple of RAF pilots, (John Nichol and John Peters if I remeber correctly), that got shot down dropping JP223's during DS is a pretty good read. I'm sure other people could suggest others. Pablo's War is similar although he didn't get shot down.

Third one I can think of is by a Chinook loadmaster, can't remeber the title or his name... There's a section on DS there too. He did some of the 'Bravo' SAS insertions/Extractions. Although it sticks in the mind because of the chapter on Lockerbie as I'm sure it would anyone who read it. Ring any bells for anybody I want to find it again and it's hard without a title?

Best book I have ever read of this sort though is "One Hundred Days" by Admiral Sandy Woodward. ISBN 0-00-637841-2 He was the chap in local command of the taskforce we sent down to the Falklands in '82. Top read.
