Let's see...

CIS AW was Seeker and (DS) Damned Seeker.. flying with SM, that was around 1994.
Left the Seeker acct for SKR@ when we changed to the Flying Tigers when we went to the new Gamestorm accouts.

Glad to see all you old farts!

then AW3 Hajo in RR and FR
So old I can't remember when I started

Played AW DOS Genie but only short time.  Was Moxie there but wife saw the AW bill........my online flight time went down the tubes.......till AOL offered it as part of their service.  AOL started the premium stuff went to Kesmai and Gamestorm.

"Sarge" in GEnie AW.. (@ $6 per hour!)

Squadron called "THE FUBARS"?

Members included 2 guys I hope to hear from again?: "Phoenix" aka: PHO, and "Hoppy"

You guys out there??

And,, a young and upcomer called "HiTech".. He seemed to thrive in the virtual air.  And could be found online 24~7.

We always thought that he did not really exist in life..  That his personna was just a few lines of Artificial Intelligence code by Kesmai (AWI creators).

PHO?  HOPPY?  You guys survive the past 12~15 years?

Sarge, 2156

Charon

4261: Delphi/Crisnet

Chrn: AOL/Gamestorm/EA

FT 1993/4? until EA drove me out about two months before they made the big announcement that drove everyone out. AH was like being back in SVGA AW again :)

Of course, now with the voice coms I frequently get called some variation of "Sharon", which takes away a bit from the whole "Pilot of the River of Death" aspect behind the name :)

Several buddies from the period:

Rutger (played a lot of Korea RR) is now in the game, and I'm working on getting yyrkoon back up.

That would be AW4W on AOL - Dos SVGA and VGA AW versions preceded that a few years for Apple Macs, Amigas as well as PCs on the same host.  AW4W subsequently became AW Classic. :)

Before the advent of the AOL Host, there were a number of hosts for Dos  AW - USA, UK, Greece, Australia and a slightly different licenced version in Japan. They ran quite a few years before AOL

I was Ratlr in Pac 1 and when Big Pac opened i moved ther and took 6GUNS and have been 6GUNS since then. Upon entering AH someone took my cpid but never played so i had the CPID of Rhino for a bit then asked HT if i could have my 6GUNS CPID back. So 6GUNS it is and 6GUNS it shall stay.
