Hazed, unfortunately some people take it personally when they get shot down.

Those of us that fly for enjoyment and competition will give the ~~all day. Hell, if I get my bellybutton handed to me, Im more in awe than angry... Levi... bastage...~~

Don't know if it was the 412th or not though if it was there's enough going on that a lot of times we aren't paying attention to ch 1 buffer.

Yesterday afternoon was an exception when you shot me down in your Tempest and I acknowledged you on ch 1 for your great shot that sawed off my tail

.

I'm with Toad on this post though. I respect you and your flying. This thread seems a little out of character however. I don't think anyone owes me any acknowledgement if I happen to do well against them and to expect it only sets me up for disappointment.

I bumped into Toad and I think Rude the other night in their Stangs and must say was a fun fight. And had displayed to me just how far and long a P51 can fly with little or no engine left and to my embarrassment ended up shooting me down when I thought it was no longer a threat.

Lesson learned :-)

Yep, that was a good one Gixer. You dove on Rude first and I was out West a bit. I was the second one to arrive and it was a tough fite all the way. You smoked Rude and I caught you after that pass or the next one I think.

You flew well and it was a fine fight. I think you'd have probably gotten us both had I showed up even just a little bit later.
