Manned AAA

Some times you wish you had somethign more potent to shoot at these massive missions.  (This is the last part of a bishops mission that looked to be nearly a hundred planes.)

Not interested in becoming a bish chew toy - I was thinking at the time, boy if I could man the Quad 20 mm gun position (or the 88mm), wouldnt that be interesting    HT, any reason to not make all the gun positions mannable, or have you just not got around to it yet?

Would be especially usefully to be able to man the AAA in the town.   Alternatively the rate of fire on the current manned 37mm up to that of the mobile platform (Ostwind) would be helpful.

......to be able to fire at incoming raids with something along the lines of what the LW used.  Fused/timed shells and all, not requiring a "direct" hit, something that put out the "flak bursts" seen in so many WW2 pics.  Have heard from pilots who were there that you could tell the size of the AAA guns from the color of the smoke from the exploding shells.
