A pound of cocaine and an eighteen year old girl.

...and a new Defribulator.

Hmmm... I got a bag of coal, a bundle of switches, and a bottle of liquor.

Thank god I got the liquor (which I'm consuming on the rocks as I type), because I also found out that my GF was cheating on me by sleeping with the guy that installed the new carpet in her apartment.

Ammo, patience Bro, I got Lasik in July and they're still working almost monthly on one of my eye's trying to get it right. But it will be worth it.  :)

PS: Sorry all to be such a downer, but my last 12 months from Christmas to Christmas have been the worst periods of my life.

Got to spend tile with the people I love, though my wife and I put around 500 miles on our van to do it.

I got advice on houses from my father-in-law.  The advice wasn't as important as his caring enough to give it.

I got some neat loot too.

Nice lists there, seems we've all been lucky boys and girls this christmas.

I had a 1:72 die-cast Corgi model Corsair thats sits on my monitor with my other two models here (fooling about with my digital camera) also had two videos, one on the history of the Hurricane and one on the history of one of my favourite bits of German iron the Stuka. Also had a book on the history of the Lancaster bomber and two very nice boxes of Thorntons Continental chocs as well as assorted clothing. Had a lovely day in with just me, the missus and our two children and a monster christmas dinner  :)

No need to apologise, Verm.... sometimes we need a reminder that not everyone's Christmas is an enjoyable occasion.  All the Best for the New Year.

not many material things here, not a religous nut and i ussualy ask people to not buy me anything.

But some persist, got money, and a VcR. Also got the pleasure of spending good time with my father doing male bonding things like shooting guns and his xbow. Got to shoot his .50cal muzle loader, what a fun weapon and packs one hell of a punch, loudest gun ive ever shot.. to qoute him "never seen a deer take more than 3 steps when at the end of this barrel".

Then i got to go to my mothers house and visit, nothing exciting there but good food and conversation.

To top it all off, the best gift so far this year was knowing i'm going to be a father in 7 months. And above that, the joy it has brought my father and mother knowing that they are going to be grandparents, there happiness was priceless.
