NATEDOG, Check out this Tiger Site....

http://tiger1.info/

This site is very reliable and accurate.  Most of the details you see folks squeaking about can be found here.  There is alot of info regarding the Tiger Ie.  I'm sure that the owner, David Byrden, can help you straighten out anything that you might need to.  I've had email correspondence with him and found him to be very helpful.  So far, the Tiger looks really nice  but GRUNHERZ is right on some issues, on others, not so right; judge for yourself.

I hope it'll live up to its reputation in toughness but not in mechanical reliability..LOL.

Not all early Tiger I's had Smoke Candles on the turret. That's one area...Now, if he changes the cupola to the later type, a AA machine gun will be accurate as you said and  the vision slits will change again to periscopes, etc..etc, etc.

I checked that other site....I like the Byrden site better.:)

True some did not have them, but the vast majority did so I believe it's representative to have them on early Tiger I. Same goes for lack of loader's scope.  Its a matter of overall accuracy. Like modeling a P51D without a tail fillet when most had one.
