Salute to P 51 drivers
« on: September 05, 2000, 04:09:00 PM »
This last long weekend I tried to fly the P 51 as much as possible.  Not having much experience in it before it was a interesting time, and all I can say is that it takes a good driver to really master it.  I got kills but I also got killed alot.  I like to T&B thus am not that familier with B&Z tactics but the phrase "speed kills" was ment for this bird.

Had a few compression problems but never shed my wings, just screwed up my gun solutions.

Good guns, long range, and the ability to get out of trouble as fast as you got into it makes it a good ride.

Oddly enough it was my best buff killer.
