Could there be a better player in the future? I doubt it. He's raised the bar.
Smith? toejame... if Sanders hadn't walked away from the game, Smith wouldn't even be in the hunt for the career rushing title. Of course... if he stays around long enough, we'll get to watch him sulk like Thurman Thomas.
