I posted a link to a new book coming out on Kidd Hofer last week.It is being written by noted artist Troy White.Here is the link to the upcoming book. http://www.starduststudios.com/new.htm

Those that know me know of my special interest in this pilot's story and the mystery of his demise.I am so glad the Mr.White has decided to do a book on the Kidd,as I feel his story is one of the most compelling to come out of WWII.

I have been in contact with Mr.White who is very pleasant and easy to talk to.

He has come to some new conclusions on what really happened on the KIdd's last flight.He is using recently uncovered documents from official German,Yugoslav,and American documents!I can't wait to read it and hopefully it will bring new light to what happened to the Kidd.Should be a very interesting read.

Also the Art produced by Troy White is very good and the subject matter unparalled!

I’m on the list for the book.

I lived close to the Salem area, South Central, MO area 22 years ago. “The Kidd” was still talked about and held in high regards in the area.

Looking forward to the book!

Should be a good read Ozark.

Salem is still one of the nicest little towns in the Ozarks.Some great fishing nearby also.
