bad news for my maps

my hard disk is f**ked up and i think i've lost all my data, maps and all, looks like they're lost


and yes hawk, that means d-day :(

I'm really sorry with you, BenDover! We all know how big work is making terrains. Can you show your hard disk to some specialist, they can nowdays do unbeliavable repairings... :(

CD Burners make excellent backup devices and they cost less then $100 on average now.

i have a cd burner, but never got round to backing it up (how does that saying go?)


i still don't know the extent of the damage though, so who knows?

you might want to look into Norton Disk Doctor..
it's saved me and my associates a time or two...

of course, now backups are automatic but....

I work for the local gov't so prices aren't only different, ...I don't actually pay for them...
