Couple questions:

Who is using it, how is it, and have you had trouble getting it to work in AH.

Thanks in advance,

56 bucks at best buy, eh?

I guess I'll have to check that out...

Anyone used it with the on-throttle rudder?  How does that do?

ordered... even with 1 day shipping, I'm saving 30 bucks from what it would be locally.  Thanks for the heads up on that special, JimBear!

This is an outstanding stick. Go buy it and if ya don't like it take it back.  Ron Hunts site will answer any question ya have about the USB X36 and analog X36!!www.Saitekhelp.com

I also have the PCDash which adds even more buttons so that everything can be a one touch option.

I like the on throttle rudder setup, less stuff to go wrong and I cross my legs so my cat can sit in my lap while flying

I had a CH F16 Fighterstick, TM WCS MkII, and CH Pedals. I now have the Saitek X36F/X35T combo. I use the onboard rudder pedals and they are very very difficult to get use to at first. Don't let that deter you though, I had to learn AH's new FM and my new stick at the same time so that really set me back. I love the stick and it's programmability, reliability, and lack of stick spiking. I use the USB version and there is no annoying calibration routine to go through either. The rudder has a little problem that you may encounter. It will spike if you hold it all the way down to the left. Solution: Take it apart and sand down the areas above the pentiometer(sp?) where the ends of the springs stick up. I used a dremmel to sand it down, took 30 seconds.. no more spikes.

I use it in Aces High (given my record in the air, not sure that's a good endorsement! LOL) and I love it.  The Rocker Arm rudder takes some getting used to, but it's not a negative IMHO.

I also recently wrote a review of it for SimHQ at:

This is the USB version we're talking about, right?  I think they're priced more like $100, around here at least.

Add me to the list of X36 users...a great stick. I had to switch from flying lefty to going righty to use a HOTAS system. This made the rudder "toggle" a little more of a problem for me. I use the x36 with USB propedals (CH)...a great combo.

Yeah, USB version - on sale at Best Buy right now.

I'll never have another analog after getting my first Prec Pro USB.
