More A/C help information please.
« on: October 11, 2002, 05:52:31 PM »
I am relatively new, but I assume that the planes that have those write-ups in the manual/webpage help were the original line-up.  But since we have not had any of the extra and anecdotal information on any plane (which constitutes a good 80-90% of them).  But I love these!!  Not only do they give me an idea of what role the plane should have, but they also inform and spark a desire for greater knowledge.  As it is now there are many planes in the hangar that I know NOTHING about.  This BB is a good source as is many webpages, but one balks at even knowing where to begin.  AH can have a very steep learning curve (which is really a good thing), but such info would help the newbie by both making it less bewildering to find the right plane and by helping to make the transition out of those p51s/Spits.

The amount of information given on the existing ones seems optimal.  I don't know how difficult it would be to make these.  But it seems that HTC does such a deep and thorough job of researching and designing modeled planes that all the salient information would be on hand already.  Thanks for any consideration that might be made.

Oh, actually I have.  A very valuable resource and one that should be made readily available to all newbs (me included).  But I still do long for the historic and anectodal aspects.
