I'm not so sure it's a FM bug.
I mean, if you give the 110 ueberbrakes, and put no stress limit on the gear or the rest of the plane, and have a vaunted pilot fatigue model that makes .001 seconds of -10 Gs lethal (and have a poor trim control model that regularly induces such situations), but ignores the effects of lateral acceleration, you may very well get a plane to spin like that. And when it spins like that, it could be generating enough lift to fly up. And since there's no wind, the instability will be apparent but not necessarily terminal.
Besides, it's only a beta. I remember when AH was in beta, if you lost a Vstab and "Helicoptered" in, you could still land by putting the gear down.
It's just not fair to make fun of a product that's not complete.
