it's takin to long and than some niktard comes along within a few sec his fire hits dang ur death.

my accuracy is about 4-5 % even in the stable all guns together p38

I've noticed it too but I don't think your missing as much as it's just not registering. I flew against a 190-D9 the other night and I never even saw a hit sprit one. After a half a clip of ammo he finally did go down. It was at this point I notice he was missing parts even though it never registered. Other times I have been D100 dead six and the same thing. One thing I did notice with the .50's I had to aim a bit higher then normal on a dead six shot to even see the hit sprites. As I see it, it may be a timeing issue between the two aircraft and mostly when it's in heavy combat.

Ermm I thought damage/hit sprites were done on your own FE, and I've almost always missed the shots I aim for anyway

Right Saw, but the only reference we have to determine our aim is true is when we see the sprites. If the hits are not registering on our end, how do we know we're hitting anything but air?
I know that hits are not registering as they once did. What changed? The only thing I know of recently is the server change we just had, that's why i'm asking if anyone has experienced the same.
When you get down to it, it's all subjective but there is a difference.

Although not all are having this problem and in my case it's not all the time. It seems at least on my part to be on the small maps in the very crowed areas, where the micro warps seem to happen.

Couldn't hit much before, now I'm missing straight and level d200 targets.

Either my suckage is improving, packets were getting routed elsewhere, or, more likely, someone cheated.

We HAD to get the "cheat" whine in here somewhere

Noticed something last night. I killed two planes, took ones wing off and anothers tail and never saw a single hit sprite. No one else was shooting at them and I got the kill on both so I'm pretty sure it was my fire that did the damage.

Also, I don't use tracers so it's pretty hard for me to miss seeing those sprites. Interesting.

Saturday night it was taking 30 seconds or longer for damage to register. In one pass I strafed a couple of AAA hit sprites galore on aaa no boom. AAA has no trouble firing normally at me (even though should be dead) take so hits but no damage registers. On second pass of same sortie go in to strafe m16's. I light a couple up - nuthin. I extend out and regrab alt muttering to myself "what the hell is going on here?@!" about 15 seconds later I get Boom Boom Boom Boom 2 aaa kills and 2 gv kill register simultaneously THEN I blow up too!

Yeah somethign wierd goin on alright - I had ping plotter running that whoel session. Trace was smooth as glass. It's a mystery, but someething is up sure enough.

Can't hit squat at the moment... then again, I'm seeing almost constant microwarping at close range.

Last night I poured half the ammo from my P-51D into an A-20 from no more than d300, the guy never even had to come off auto-level. I saw at least a couple seconds of sprites going off on his plane. Either those things are made of titanium, or some of those bullets weren't registering.

Thought it was just me, but discussed it with squaddies and they report similar "pass through" shots and missing deflection shots more often than before....hmmm...interesting.

Sadly, when you fly a Yak those "miss, miss, damn, miss" shots add up way too quickly.
