Tried one on the first bull I shot in Montana (er, was forced to, tradition) I was pretty inebriated so I don't recall flavor...

We call them Calf Fries here in Texas and they can often be found on appetizer menus in Fort Worth. They are pretty tasty. Nothing really too weird or gross about them.
