We made a gateway change this morning that will affect the MA only. If you've had problems with your connection to the MA, please let us know if you now see a difference. Thanks.

My connect was better before the change. Pings have increased from 170 to 210, and I am now seeing some packet loss.

Awful connect at the moment posted route in appropriate forum, but the problem starts a long way away from HT it seems.
Still that don't make me feel any better about not being able to play

Bad news from me, I’m afraid.

I have not been able to log on to Aces High for two days. I have two ISPs and have tried both. Same thing happens. Either the connection attempt times out, or I get the message ”Not receiving updates switched to TCP”. Either way, I cannot connect. Sometimes my ISP calls time and disconnects as if in protest to my attempt to connect to Aces High.

Help me!

dude...don't feel bad...i haven't been able to connect to the main arena FOR OVER TWO WEEKS now due to the exact same thing!

if you figure out what the hell is going on, please let me know.

About 30 mins after i had connect problems earlier which were starting long way before HT, Logged into MA and Netgraph lines were flatter than they have been for months, was logged into MA for 9.5 hours no problems, perfect gaming connect for me.
Playing from UK in case it makes a difference.

yes, starting this afternoon, i've noticed more disco's (but internet connection alive on desktop) and have been getting ping times of sub 60ms thru the entire routing (14 hops total) *until* the final hop - the game server (216.234.247.240), which is showing on avg 1400ms in response times. i have also been seeing 2-3sec text lag in MA.

Finally managed to log in. I have ISDN at my house, and always get a 64k connection with that. But I couldn't connect to AH. So I tried the old Dark Side trick of connecting with my old 56K modem, and setting the max speed to 19.2K. I was then able to log in, and enjoyed a session lasting about 4 hours
