Just thought I would share what I do on my weekends. There are the new planes we are currently restoring for display.

They look finished to me. Is than an F-14A? I'm thinking it must be one of the older model F-14s since its not using the grey camo lo-vis scheme.

This F-14A was the third built. It never served with the fleet, but was used extensively for flight testing, in particular, testing at the limits of the flight envelope. Later, it was used as the test mule for the continued series of upgrades made to the Tomcat from the mid 1970s, through the early 1990s. It's one well worn aircraft, but perhaps the most significant Tomcat of the production run.

The F-14A, A-10A, and the A-6E are all done, but we canot display them until we can open the hangar. we can't open the hangar until Nassau county puts in the fire safety system.

Looks like its going to be in the spring.

I love that Museum. I spend far too much money and time there.
