Anyone useing a ATI Radion 9000 pro?
« on: October 21, 2002, 07:27:18 AM »
Hi all,

Does anyone use this card Ati card ?     A pilot in my squad has one and he seems to have a few graphic problems.  I'm just wondering if anyone can help by letting me know what setting you use to get the best performance out of this card.   I built his computer yesterday for him.  The ATI Radion 9000 was not my first choice in cards but he already owned it so in it went.  His System specs are as follows:

Athlon XP 2000+
MSI KT3-Ultra 2
512 megs Micron PC-2700 DDR
Win XP Pro W/ Service pack 1
Onboard sound
Radion 9000 pro ( no idea which drivers)

Anyway,  he said he seems to have "skiping" when looking out any view but the front view in AH.   His Frame rates  were showing  huge with the latest drivers we Downloaded.    I had him remove the new drivers and install the drivers he got on the cd, his frame rate bottomed out to the mid 50's  but the "skipping" was still there but not as bad as before.  Anyone have any suggestions?
