im running s-video from my playstation / dvd

trying to get it so i can use my pc (and better resolution monitor) instead of my tv

aha.. are you sure it's S-video IN and not S-video OUT
like mine?
were you can veiw your comptuer on the TV.. not the other way 'round?

it's both, gf4 came with a dongle that allows both in and out

however they did not include software or documentation to explain how to use the s-video in. i can use my tv for a monitor fine, but vice versa is being a pain

I'm on their website and they only mention TV out

just downlaoded a new capture driver that might work

I assume you already looked at the advanced display settings ...

yeah, i checked those out first

im hoping these wdm drivers work. it's installing them now

hmm.. well, now it's able to select the s-video in, but no video showing yet...

im almost there
