i read (in "tales of a war pilot")about a b-36 that crashed in brit columbia presumably w/ an a-bomb aboard and the wreckage went undiscovered for more than a decade...thought it was a 1 time event - guess not - who knows how many a-bombs are lying about.  there are 2 soviet h-bomb tipped missles at the botom of the pacific.
with the quickly rising value of WWII warbirds it will eventualy be cost effective to recover the rest of the Lightnings & Flying Forts from Greenland - maybe somdays theys drain the channel to get at all the 109s, Spits, etc down there...

Lost squad

Read the book about the recovery. Sad really to much bickering and back stabbing.
