Thanks Laz, for that superb little treatise on why I disagree with Toad. I bow down to your superior intellect and will no longer feel you are an antagonistic tard the next time you start some pointless attention-seeking thread about a pointless, 'controversial' gameplay 'improvement'. You are (and always will be), da man.

Damn, that was brutal.

Anyway, I hope Beetle isn't the guy, maybe a C/O from WBS in the Burger King type hat, 40ish, mustache someone posted not long ago? Same guy? I might have to order beers.

LOL - I wish I was 40-ish. Closer to 50 than 40 :(

What's Burger King? Best hamburger I ever had in the US was a Carl's Junior superstar.

lol, ok "stupid looking craphat" with some squad name on it. If you got a mustache and were at a con and had a bad squad hat, its you. Burger King or not. (BK fries are to die for)

Fess up.

I find that the overall level of literacy on this BBS, including yours, is insufficient for the postings to hurt me.  I never met either of them though. Anyway, I was thinking of coming to the next con and offering to buy EVERYONE a beer. I can well afford it. Most of the people I see around AH won't be old enough to accept it!  LOL :D  But I would like to buy you one.

Creamo - could have been me. The hat was black and bore the insignia of the Royal Orange Flames of the Netherlands. That was my last WB squad. (The insignia has since peeled off) I never did special events, so I have never been CO. Was once offered a position as XO somewhere, but declined. There IS a picture of me (and Tomato) near the end of that Who Are You thread. It was taken by someone we ran into in Venice-Italy a few weeks ago.

Update: Lazs - need help understanding why I might not accord with Daddog & Toad. I found a few posts from each of them and, unlike yours, their spelling and grammar is perfect. I also found a picture of Daddog, with his family, and like me, Daddog has a full beard - so he must be all right! (Bet I've had mine longer - ie for more years)  Also, could you point me towards that manual/auto tranny thread - it sounds interesting.

beetle... don know but maybe if you worked on content more than gramar and verbosity.... you wouldn't get ur bellybutton kicked so much on the BB.   Maybe things wouldn't go over your head so much if you paid more attention to what people say instead of spending all your energy pontificating...

Lazs. There are two Ms in Grammar, otherwise not bad. I can tell you are reading more. Clearly you are a keen follower of my threads and it seems to be paying off. :) (Easymo's post had three errors in seven words, even discounting that "ooooooh" is not a proper word) Do pray tell me who is the administrator of said arse kickings. I don't have strong differences of opinion with anyone except you and poopie - and that arises from gameplay issues which are a matter of preference rather than right and wrong. Besides, Poopie and I are old mates.

Yes, Carl's Junior seems to be exclusive to California. The last one I had was at a town called Tracy on the way to Yosemite. Lazs country, sort of...

Lazs - I would love to read your thoughts on those transmissions - don't forget to post the URL please.
