Been working on doing a pony skin for the squad i am in,
the 479th FG.Ive got alot of it done,but can figure out how
to do the spinner(or where it is).The 51D skin is a pain in
the ass.

I absolutely hate skinning the P51d, it confuses me, so if i see a P51d colour scheme i want to do, i just do it with the B version.

I myself have been toying with the P51 skin for as long as the TE was out, and i mean there are a crap load of bugs on it.  Hard to hide it too.

The spinner on the P51D isnt there either... I guess there are a couple ways to paint the spinner but, too complicated for a novie painter like myself.

But if you do find a way, do Share! :)

Nice skin bro,i like the panel lines you did,they do a good job at giving a 3d affect.

  I got this link from the boards here,for those that are using photoshop,its a good basic walkthrough for skinning with PS.i got good info from it.

Sounds like they are re-doing the P-51D skin for the next version so hopefully they will fix the bugs as well.
