Is a squad limited to 32 members? If yes why?

Yes.  I don't know (other than being a binary multiple).

because if  you need more than 32 squaddies
you need more than a change in squad-limits!   :)

There is really no limit on squad member numbers.

eg:

FDBs
FDPs
FDRs
FDMs
FDIs
FDSs
FDDs
FDAs
FDFs
FDCs
FDHs

you could all make them one squad really. (though you wouldnt want to. Trust me.)

352 "fat drunk ...........s" would not be a good thing.

Even 32 should be called a "wing" rather than a sqd.

I guess I should have said a little more. We have a squad here from Air Warrior and have a bunch of AH people joining us. It is very nice to log in see the orange dots on the map and go there. We also like to be able to see our squadies at a glance and be tuned to the same freq (4 squad) I guess we could tune to a open channel I don't think it has a limit. But that doesn't help the orange icon of our members.

Yeah using a 100+ channel for communication would suck for us because we'd be muted all the time.

Maw have been complaining about this for years. We just reorginize and split into smaller wings. Each wing has a job on squad nights. The only drawback is not everyone shows on the squad high light and we cant use squad text to type to everyone. The real hassel is in SEA and TOD we have way more MAW than any one squad can hold. Not everyone makes it to every event. So I am allways haveing to adjust the roster just before events starts. A real pain!

Just spilt up guys. Form several sqd's and work together. Sqd leaders can comunicate with eachother. It's even more practical that way rather than 100 guys talking at the same time. You can still be part of the larger "unit", just split up in teams.

Just a suggestion.

With mulitple squads you can work around the text and vox issue, however, squad high light is a real drawback.
