"The Dirty Dozen"

Franko V.R. death by hanging says

"I'm not shaving in cold water, the guards have hot water how come we gotta shave in cold water"

"I thought you said mayonnaise was the only one suppose to climb the rope"

I did not think the lines that maggot said were suitable for this forum. hehe

well, I love a bunch of them, but my fav would be the BIG RED 1 w/ Lee Marvin. I liked Midway, longest day, and the new all timer...Saving Private Ryan.  Bunch of others,

Judgement at Nuremberg- 1961  wasn't as waar movie.

It was damned good......... No doudt.....

I had read where it was critized at the time for not "going after the political leadership" instead of the judicial branch. But when you watch it you understand why they did. Good movie ......

I agree with all of the choices.  One I want to own is Fighter Squadron about a P47 squad.  If I remember they used p51s as me 109s but other than that it was pretty good.

Can't believe it hasn't been said yet, "Tora Tora Tora!".

Makes me wonder why they even bothered with "Pearl Harbour".

What!
No one even said Kellys Heros with Cojack (whats his real name?) Eastwood and Sutherland. "Its a mother beautiful bridge, and it'll be there" Hehe.
Favotire is Band of Brothers however, only part that was BS at outside of carentan when shermans blast away tiger/panzer, that was hollywood.

Since no one said the name:
Enemy at the Gates.

And then all the others, Battle of Britain, Saving Private Ryan, Das Boot, The longest day, The big Red One, Memphis Belle, A bridge too far, The great escape, Bridge over the river Kwai, on and on.

Stepping outside ww2: Aces High!!!!, and why not the Wild Geese?
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)
