Another one from an outside angle.  It seems fixed beside the cannon barrel.

I wish.  Already tried that though, thanks.  Not that another MG would really add much to the M-8, I was just wondering what it is and why it's there.

Tried it?  Obviously not.  Remember that the "Fire Secondary" is different in gun positions than in the pilot seat.

If you hit secondary fire from the main gun sight, the coaxial machinegun fires.

You think it has 1500 rounds for that 37mm??

The panzer has one also.

Please hush.  I just tried it AGAIN, and it still doesn't work.  The secondary fire key, when used while in the howitzer sight, fires the howitzer AND that 1500 bumber decreases by one.  The 1500 number decreases by 1 ALSO when you fire the howitzer using primary fire.  Now I haven't messed with stick mappings for GVs but maybe it's set wrong, but the fact that the 1500 number decreases no matter what button I hit or what gun fires sort of makes me suspicious.

EDIT:  okay okay I rescind my last statement.  It was the stick bindings.  BUT, the MG number still goes down by one every time you fire the howitzer.  I wonder if you dump all your MG ammo if you'll be able to fire the main gun.

The 1500 number is Main ammo PLUS MG ammo.
Also, the LVT4 doesn't have a coaxial MG.

To map the proper key, go to stick/key mapping, and under the GUNNER section, set up a key for fire secondary.

The ammo counter is total ammo available, of all types.

It's main gun ammo + mg ammo.

Which explains why I couldn't use it.  I unmapped "fire all" for something else.
