A Link to some art on the d520 in WW2OL. It should do well against the 109. Not this release but maybe next.

I like the camo and markings.  I hope we get one for this sim, too.

So Hardcase, how does one sign up to play?

I just spent an hour trying to reactivate my WW2OL account, and/or get some help doing so. I've had a Playnet account since beta. In the sign-up steps, it won't accept the 12 digit subscription key on the CD. It kept reverting to the screen asking for the key. Trying to find a link to some kind of help on this was a real excercise in futility. I finally found a link to communicate with the Rats at their home page under Business suggestions. I suggested they make it easier for people like me to get help.

I had an account some time ago. I delete my subscription when a new release (v .65 I think) wouldn't recognize my joystick. After failing to get any tech support for two weeks, I gave up and closed my account. Kind of hard to play without a joystick wouldn't you agree?

I must say, I'm willing to give the game another shot, but all my experiences to date with these folks have not been all together satisfactory from a customer point of view. If you have any contacts with the Rats, please relay this to them. Ask them to think of all the other people out there who might have signed up, but ran into these roadblocks, and said to hell with it.

A simple link on each of the pages to e-mail for support shouldn't be to difficult to impliment. An easy method to reach out for help would go a long way in bringing in new customers.

Email rhodge@playnet.com That is Hatch and he can usually walk an account thru the process.  You can also call him, I think his ext is 111. It looks like the new beta is going public today. With dx8.1b being required it is a major step if fixing low end machines FPS. The Mac version is also due out today or tomorrow, I forget exactly.

If you had an account, it may only require reactivation of it with no need to reinput the Key Code. Email Hatch and he should get you in. Hope you enjoy the new version.

AK, tech support is done by us on the Community Forum. Let me guess..a Sidewinder? Most problems are easily solved with a lot of web sites for keymapping and stuff.

Thanks for the swift reply, and the link.

I have the latest version downloaded, and everything works except it dosen't see my rudder pedals. I've got the keymapper pretty well figured out. Just having a hell of a time getting signed up.

I'll send Hatch an e-mail.

Found this on Community Boards.

For restarting an old account.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If they've previously created accounts, they need to go to "modify my subscription" - it's one of the menu options in the "QUICKLINKS" drop - down menu. From there they should be able to imput their ORIGIONAL username/pass combo, and then their new billing info and change their status to "active" or whatever they're calling it.(credit card, etc).

Lovely D520 what a strange sight coming from WWIIol ..

I suppose that the rat are making the final touch to the 109F4 ?

if not how the axis will handle this plane without toejamting their pants ?

Yes you are right I've not a 0.0001% of respect for WWIIol axis player they don't even need to cheat as the game is already biased ...
