Wot, no Pizza?

Logged on, found the pizza was gone, looked around, found a load of FFA furballs, discovered I'd run out of quarters, logged off.

If you miss the Pizza map, why not fire it up offline?

Then you can capture bases all night long and simulate the online experience!   Imagine, flying Jabo runs, GV runs, goonie runs, dodging ack with your hair on fire, all completely un-interrupted by lamers who want to stop your fun!  It'd be a perfect simulation of the online conditions  :)

Or create a H2H server with AKDESERT up and capture bases with a few of your friends--loads of fun for all :D

I think JAB was being serious but... if he was being funny then he was a lot funnier than the "quarters" joke.  In the case of people who fly like you like to.... funny and pitiful are dificult to tell apart.

My thoughts exactly.

When the map is dominated by NOE missions and solo gv captures, it pretty much makes large organized missions less usefull.

The other maps are to small
it only gives u one option that is furball.

On the pizza map u can find furballs saying there aren't is foolish and stupid.

Just hate to get banged over and over on a to crowded map .

The old map size suited good for the number 1-2 years ago when at highest the where 100-250 players (nobody got bored).

nowdays it reaches over 600 players everywhere u start a fight ur nmy can run to own troops very easily. getting u ganged.

Also ur kill getting stealed by friendlys just after u fought that nmy from 20K down to the deck.

The one that shots u get's killed and the one gets killed and so on...

Very boring

I also agree, for the primary audience of AH, the other maps are too small and I have no trouble whatsoever finding someone to shoot at.  The whines to the contrary have never struck me as reasonable and annoyingly online from the same few people (over and over and over) while the rest try to enjoy the game.
